| | TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH
Federal and state research funding programs and economic development groups serve a critical purpose by sponsoring translational research. The JHTT helps these groups fulfill their mission by ensuring that the scientific programs they sponsor are supported so they can make a lasting impact on the largest group of people. The beneficiaries of these sponsorships include companies involved with molecular genetics, proteomics, chemistry, biomedical engineering, and material sciences, as well as the people that benefit from advances in these sciences.
The JHTT acts as a liaison to the funders of translational research to help connect economic development organizations with University projects and research that match their criteria for selecting and funding programs. For assistance, please contact: Helen Montag Corporate Relations Manager 410-516-4976 hmontag@jhmi.edu For more information on sponsored research in medicine, please call 410-955-3061 or visit the Office of Research Administration.
