| | HOW THE JHTT HELPS
Marketing JHU Inventions To help our business partners become more informed about the inventions available for licensing, the JHTT posts marketing summaries of the inventions not only within this website but we also provide them to a variety of intellectual property exchanges such as TechEx, Pharma Ventures, Knowledge Express, Pharma-Transfer, Ltd., Tech Meta Search, Global Technoscan, and Kristi. We welcome your inquiries and calls regarding your interests in the invention(s) whether you have seen a press release, a newspaper article, a scientific publication, “through the grapevine,” or from an exchange.
In addition, we send non-confidential invention summary information specific to companies’ particular interests directly to business development professionals via e-mail. This kind of pro-active marketing activity helps industry become better informed as to the new invention disclosures that may be important to your strategic interests in a format that is easily shared within your company. Facilitating Access to Confidential Information If companies are interested in pursuing more specific confidential information about an invention we help execute a Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA) so that confidential information is more freely shared and so that our inventors can converse more openly with company executives and scientists. CLICK HERE to go to the Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Agreements section on this website. Assisting Technology Transfer Be assured that the staff of the JHTT is poised to help companies navigate their way through the initial interest and evaluation processes after which the Technology Licensing Associates, dedicated to not only protect the intellectual property assets but also negotiate the license agreements, guide companies through the next steps in the transfer of the invention from JHU to the public sector for further development.
